Whew, what a week! Oh, was that two weeks, 3? Could it be??

Perhaps I did too much at the front end of getting this website up, and I ran out of steam a bit. No worries, I am back at it now, and am confident I will get some momentum back over the next few weeks.

For this blog I am going to share what’s in the “works”. I have created, and there are (always) more on the go, several art pieces of that pink cosmos flower against a blue building. They are in different sizes with a variety of effects, encased by a “funky” custom hand painted frame. I have decided to make a “Cosmos Collection” and submit it for an installation at one of the restaurants here in Sudbury.

The original photo was taken in Nova Scotia last year, and since then I have come up with some interesting effects and custom frames.

And here is brand new one inspired by my dear sister-in-law. I had made a Facebook post about all this and I asked for suggestions of different colours. She humoured me, this is what I came up with,… she is pleased. She’s an artist too! When I get a “nod” from a fellow “artist”, it is extremely validating for me. Thank you to you, you know who you are :-)
